Cynthia "Cindy" Watson Curry, 57 of Hixson, TN, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 in Englewood, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She was daughter of the late Hubert and Willie Blankenship Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Curry on February 10, 2006, and an infant sister, Jeraldine Watson. She was a Christian and attended Burks United Methodist Church in Hixson, TN and was a member of Eastview Baptist Church in Etowah, TN.

She was a Med Technician and had formerly worked at Sweetwater Hospital and presently worked at North Park Hospital in Hixson, TN.

She is survived by a son and daughter in-law, Hubert and Christy Alloway of Etowah, TN; three grandchildren, Hannah, Alton and Kimber Alloway; five sisters and four brother in laws, Maxine and Marion Patton of Ten Mile, Mary Lou and Tommy Carter of Sweetwater, Kathleen and Jimmy Cole of Englewood, Carolyn Scoggins of Etowah, and Barbara and Kent Wilson of Athens, two brothers, Reece Watson and Vallerie of Englewood and Gary Watson of Athens, one uncle, Cecil Watson of Sweetwater, and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and special friend Mirinda Shelton Lenker.

Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Layspeaker Eddie Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the funeral home and go in procession to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McMinn County/ American Cancer Association c/o Faye Forgety, 120 County Rd 447 Athens, TN 37303.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Price, Nathan Walker, Brian Hatfield, Allen Walker, Eddie Price, and Eddie Scott.
