Dallas Nimrod Taynor, 85, of Englewood, TN passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

He was a son of the late Harry Nimrod and Ethel Rebecca Taynor.

Dallas retired from the City of Columbus, OH in 1999; he enjoyed retirement here in Tennessee on the farm with his granddaughter, Shannon Taynor Hager (Kenneth) and multiple animals including horses, chickens and dogs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Taynor; 10 brothers and sisters, Medreth, Dorothy, Richard, Clara, Helen, Waneta, still born brother, Annabell, Harold, and William; sons, Michael, Steven, Jerry; and daughter, Amy Lovsey.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Diane Taynor of OH, William Franklin and Darlene Taynor of OH; daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Gary Miller of OH; daughter-in-law, Cynthia  Taynor of TN; son-in-law, Michael Lovsey of OH; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

Dallas will travel home to be with his wife, Mary, in Ohio. Final resting place will be held at Union Cemetery in Columbus, OH
