Survivors include his parents, Bill and Sandra Buckner of Englewood; two sons, Dustin and Cody Buckner, both of Decatur; two sisters, Laurie Sanders and Melissa Mason, both of Englewood; and one brother, Richard Buckner of Englewood.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 8th at Mars Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Kincannon officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour at the cemetery prior to the service.
