Danny Ray Jeralds age 57 of Athens passed away Friday May 20th, 2011. He was a resident of Englewood for most of his life. Danny served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. He is the son of Lillice Marie Arwood and the late Willard Ora Jeralds. Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Mellanie (Mimi) Jeralds; father, Willard Jeralds; 2 sisters, Gwendlyn Simmons and Olivia Jane Jeralds; and brother, Willard Jeralds Jr.
Survivors include mother, Lillice Jeralds of Englewood; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law Doug and Debbie Jeralds of Soddy Daisy, Frank and Mary Sue Jeralds of Englewood, David and Teleia Jeralds of Etowah; 2 sisters and a brother in law, Vickie Jeralds Belcher of Englewood, Angie and Derrick Hagins of Etowah; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Sunday, May 22 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Cardin and Lay speaker Tom Quinn will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home Monday, May 23 at 10 a.m. and proceed to Sunrise cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service with Military Rites.
