David A. Daugherty, 54, of Englewood, TN went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Standifer Place Health Center in Chattanooga, TN.

He was a lifelong resident of Liberty Hill community and a faithful member of Starr Mountain Church of Christ.  David was a son of the late Carson and Margaret Daugherty.

He is preceded in death by parents, listed above; infant siblings, Ronnie and Irene Daugherty; special nephew John Daugherty and several aunts and uncles.

David loved his family and friends dearly. David never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include sister Joyce and Fred Raby of Cleveland; brothers Glenn and Evelyn Daugherty of Englewood and Tim and Charlene Daugherty of Athens.  David had several nieces and nephews he loved dearly as well as a multitude of very special friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Minister Pat Wilson and Minister Jeff Archey officiating.  Pall bearers will be Glenn Daugherty, Jr., Aaron Daugherty, Chad Daugherty, Mike Raby, Hunter Raby, Tanner Raby, Torry Sheppard, Carson Black and Terry Chandler.  No formal visitation will be held.
