David Edmund Dorsey, 75, of Etowah, TN, passed away, Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Etowah Health Care Center. A Member of First Baptist Church of Etowah andpreceded in death by his parents, Roy Edmund and Ollie Mae Dorsey; grandparents; brothers-in-law, Gilbert Scofield and David Buker.Survivors include his sister, Gail Scofield Buker, native of Etowah, currently residing in CA; cousins, Burke Garwood of Etowah, Jane Riden of Etowah, Anne Calbaugh of Dayton, TN, Gary Garwood of Athens, Dr. Bill Casteel of Dayton, TN, and Peggy Wharton of Etowah.Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Green Hill Cemetery with Dr. Eldridge
Cullum officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
