David Lynn Maynor, 69, a life-long resident of Englewood, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

He was born on March 12, 1954 in Baumholder, Germany. David was the son of the late Ben Ogle and Wanda Jean Corvin Maynor. He was faithful to Englewood Church of God.

Preceded in death by his siblings, Joe Ben Maynor and Jerri Baxter; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Amos and Alyce Richeson.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Amy Richeson Maynor; children, Laura (Adam) Case, Ryan Hockman; siblings, Jerry (Lucy) Maynor, Phyllis (Frank) Hart; grandchildren, Wyatt Cook, Bryson Case and Dakota Hockman; several loving friends and extended family members.

David was a talented mason, who took great pride in his work. He was a fun-loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family, and sharing stories with those he loved.

David was a steadfast friend who stayed strong until the end. He is a hero to his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 20th at the funeral home and will go in procession to Mars Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
