David Lee Morgan, 79, of Athens, TN moved to Heaven on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

David was an avid photographer and especially loved photographing nature. He enjoyed woodworking, creating all types of furniture, musical instruments, and jewelry. David also did types of metalworking. He was proud to be the president of the Amateur Radio and had a leadership position of HAM Radio. He was also a member of the American Daffodil Society. In his free time, he enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, and planting and photographing flowers.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Morgan Feliciano.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cheri Morgan-Choat and David Choat; grandson, Ian Shaw; daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Baron Brausen; sister, Barbara Patterson; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Eve Morgan.

The family would like to send a special thank you to his caregiver, Elissa Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Bordwine Funeral Home with grandson, Ian Shaw officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.
