Della Mae Vaughn, 86 of Etowah, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Etowah. A daughter of the late Ben and Ella Raper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Luther Vaughn; her parents listed above; 4 brothers, and 1 sister. Survivors include 1 son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Vickie Vaughn; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Ginger and Ron Bowers and Glenda and Thomas Ingram; 3 grandchildren, Angelia Ingram, Michelle Cain and Roxanne Bacon;1 great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Frances Riddle of Florida and Myrtle Waller of Etowah, TN; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Cambria Cemetery, with Rev. Homer Belcher officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
