Delores Jean Moses, 74, of Riceville, TN passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Agnes Joines of Englewood; and infant daughter, Tammy Faye.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

She enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding, crafts, sewing and spending time with her family which she adored; however, anyone that really knew Delores knew her love and compassion for animals went far beyond the norm. Her home pets were her true joy and to watch her heart light up went beyond compare, Bo, Luke, Gizmo, Lacy and Leo had overwhelmed her life with love and shared a special part of her loving heart.

Loved ones left to carry her memory on is her loving husband of 42 years, Lonnie Moses; daughters and sons-in-law, Missy and Greg Smith, Trish and Jimmy Stephens, Whitney and Blaine Edmonds; her precious grandchildren, Coty Smith, LaShay Smith with Jonathon Kidd, Hope and Jeremy Freeman, Kristin and Cody Bridges, Andrew Stephens, Vicki Stephens, Kaleb Thumbquist; great-grandchildren, Allison, Anna, Xander, Sebastian, Jayland, Cora, Luna, Desi, Jackson, Jacob, Austin, Justin, Helen Noel, and Evelyn; numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Harmon and Greg Charles officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 8th at the funeral home and proceed to Joines/Wilson Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
