Diana "Sue" (Cobble) Burnett Derrick, 71, of Etowah, passed away, Friday, September 12, 2014 at Sweetwater Hospital Association in Sweetwater, TN. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a daughter of the late, Noah Horace and Anna Duggan Burnett and Ira and Una Cobble. She was preceded in death by her parents, listed above; infant daughter, Diana Nicole Derrick; and sister, Jane Walker.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Joe Derrick, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Lisa Derrick; daughter, Lori Derrick, all of Etowah, TN; grandchildren, Jake Derrick and Josh and Monica Derrick all of Cleveland, TN; brothers, Dean and Dan Burnett; and sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Mayfield, Edythe and JR Cooper, and Esther Patterson;and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Pat Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2014 and proceed to Etowah Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m., committal service.

Jake Derrick, Josh Derrick, Mark Tallent, Mike Derrick, Jay Roberts, and Jason Green will serve as pallbearers.
