Diane Brown, 51 of Delano, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at her residence. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Angela Hicks. She attended Welcome Valley Church. Preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Jackie and Wayne Hicks. Survivors include, her husband, Johnny Brown of Delano; 2 sons, Josh and Jake brown also of Delano; 5 brothers, Gary Hicks, Nickie Hicks, Randy Hicks, Tony Hicks and Rex Hicks all of Athens, TN; 1 sister, Brenda Sharpe of Athens and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Wilfred Wright and Rev. Bobby Dolan officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26th in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Family and friends will proceed to Delano Cemetery following the service, Friday for the committal service. James Brown, Doug Brown, Michael Brown, Jeremy Brown, Jason Brown and Ricky Brown will serve as pallbearers. Gene Brown will serve as honorary pallbearer.
