Donald Curtis Sanford, 60, of Etowah, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at Etowah Health Care. He was a resident of Etowah, TN had lived in FL after serving in the U.S. Armyand returned to TN five years ago. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Sanford. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Sanford of Etowah; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Eddie Randolph of Etowah; niece and husband, Hailey and Jonathan Rayburn of Etowah; nephew, Samuel Randolph of Etowah; and close friend, Jim Liner of Etowah. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2012 at Green Hill Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m., graveside service with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 12th at Bordwine Funeral Home.
