Donald Eugene Winder, age 72 of Etowah, TN, passed awaySaturday August 31, 2013at his residence. He wasretired from J M Huber. Donwas a member and deacon of Goodsprings Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Walter Winder and Ova Graves Winder. He was also preceded in death by agrandson, Gideon Winder, and brother Danny Winder.

Survivors include his wife,Daphne Winder of Etowah, TN; sons and daughter in-law, Donald Winder II of Etowah, TN andDarren and Vicki Winder of Athens, TN; grandchildren, Donald Trey Winder III and wife, Kara, Drew Winder and wife Ashley, Ben Winder and wife Laura Beth, Rebekah Winder, Leah Winder, Dustyn Winder, Brianna Winder, Taylor Payne; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Kendall, Kylee, and Kynsee Winder, Grayson and Victor Winder; sister in-law, Juanita Winder of Athens, TN.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home. Rev. Oran Creasman will officiate. Thefamily will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4th, at McMinn Memory Gardens for the committal service.

Pallbearerswill be grandchildren.
