Donna Sue Wilson, 70, of Athens, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by deep love, unwavering devotion, and cherished memories.

Donna was the beloved wife of Robert Wilson, sharing life’s joys  together for many years. Her warmth and care enriched the lives around her and echoed through every corner of her family. As a devoted mother, she is survived by her daughters, Karen R. Cochran and Angela Nichole Harvey. She was a proud grandmother to Jeffrey A. Cochran and spouse Candis, and Lucas B. Harvey, and a loving great-grandmother to Malachi and Imri Cochran. She embraced her role in their lives, offering steady support, honest guidance, and unconditional love. She is also survived by her sisters Joyce, Brenda, Kathy, and Sandy, as well as several  nieces, and nephews, cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Posey; granddaughter, April Dawn Cochran.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.,  on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. David Lones.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service at McMinn Memory Gardens.
