Donnie Ray Womac, 71, of Riceville, TN went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones.

Donnie was born January 24, 1951 and was raised in and around the small community of Sanford. He lived most of his life there, as have many family members. Donnie worked construction all his life, traveling to many states and seeing many different things. He loved going to the beach, gardening, traveling and just sitting on his porch relaxing with his best friends, Daisy, Apache, and Fluffy. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking for all of them. He was so loved.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Womac; mother, Thelma (Wade) Womac; brother, Heron Womac; brothers-in-law Fred Swafford and Carl King; nephew, Carl King Jr.

Donnie is survived by his daughters and son-in-law; Cindy Womac and Rachel and Victor Gregory; sisters, Carroll Swafford and Veronica King; grandchildren and spouses, Austin  and Rachael Burgess, Tate and Marissa Davis, Tessa Hall and fiancé Ed Kostyushko, Coleman and Bailey Gregory, Alana Gregory, Samuel Gregory; great-grandchildren, Lilly and Hanna Burgess; several nieces and nephews; best friends Daisy and Fluffy.

Victor Gregory, Tate Davis, Samuel Gregory, David Smith, David Ellis and Codey Maddux will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Donnie's grandson, Austin Burgess, delivering a eulogy.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday prior to the service.

Family and friends will meet at Riceville Cemetery Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for the committal service.
