Doris E. Carver, 89 of Athens, TN passed away Monday, June 24, 2019.

Preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Miller; and brother, Carl E. Miller, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, William Roy Carver; daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Bill Clark, Pat and George Carpenter; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Laura Carver; granddaughters and husband, Aimee and Steven Mullins of Morristown,  Anne Carpenter of Nashville.

She loved playing the piano at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, all types of music, bird watching and loved her dogs especially "Jack".

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Double Springs Cemetery with Pastor Byron Talbot officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27 ^th at the funeral home.                                    In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Claxton Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 1024, Athens, TN 37371.
