Doris Jean Pressley, 83, of Calhoun, TN passed away at her home on Saturday, August 1, 2026. 

Doris was a member of Chestuee Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by several beloved family members. 

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John William Pressley; son, Jim "Eddie" Brown; grandchildren and spouses, Josh and Crystal Brown, Jessica and Johnathon Moses, and Jade and Josh Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Caylee Brown, and Dylan Moses; sisters, Willie Norwood and Jodi Starkey; nieces and nephew, Tammy Hutsell, Candi Bivens, John Norwood, and Crystal Lovingood; great nieces, Mercedes Bivens and Cheynne Mcintosh; great-great nephews, Landon Bivens and Broncs Mcintosh; great-great niece, Katie Jones. 

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hatcher officiating. 

The family will receive friends from12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. 

Interment will follow the service at Chestuee Worship Center Cemetery. 

Landon Bivens, Johnathon Moses, John Norwood, Joey Hutsell, Wayne Wright, and Mitch Kinzalow will serve as pallbearers.
