Dorothy Louise Beck, 66, of Englewood, TN went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. A native of Monroe County and resident of Englewood most of her life. She was a dairy farmer for 18 years and a florist for 27 years and she was of Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Zelma Harris; brother, Fred Harris; 6 sisters, Madeline Carter, Eveline Harris, Hattie Ruth Harrill, Billy Joe Harris, JoAnn McAfee, Otsie Roberta Carroll.

Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Dianna and Jason Cordell of Sweetwater, TN, Debbie and Tim Lennex of Athens, TN; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Ashley Beck of Englewood, TN, Dustin and Kim Beck of Englewood, TN; 6 grandchildren, Jordan and Taylor Moore, Kaley and Clay Beck, Shelby and Luke. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22nd at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.
