Doyle D. Barnett, 89, a lifelong resident of Englewood, TN went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 17, 2025.

He served four years in the Air Force; he was employed at Bowater Paper Mill, and retired after 44 years.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Englewood and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Susanna Brock Barnett of 34 years; his father and mother, Henry "Pie" and Cora Barnett; one brother, Jerry Barnett.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Randy Mason, Anna Gregory; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Vicki Standridge; sister, Norma Jackson; grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda and Tommy Carver, Tina and Mickey Mendenhall; Chris and Ashley Barnett, Curt and Julia "Missy" Standridge; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also, the Holden family and his church family who were very special to him. Special thanks to Dr. Nathan Trentham and Gentiva Hospice.

Brad Moses, Rob Long, Steve Tallent, Frank Snyder, Clint Holden and Erik Garkovich will serve as pallbearers. Richard Scianimanico will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Maples officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble, Thursday, November 20th at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
