Dwight Martin, 59, of Etowah passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at his residence. He was a son of the late Carl Albert (Jimmy) and Cora Lee Martin.

Preceded in death by his parents, listed above; and three brothers, Franklin, James Carl and Larry Martin.

Survivors include his, wife, Grace Locke Martin; daughters and son in-law, Janie Melton, Jessi and Jason Knox; sons, Dwight Free Shankle, Larry Jo Martin and Trevor Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Lollita and Clarence Turner; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Doug and Connie Martin, David and Clorette Martin; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews:

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. No formal visitation will be held.
