Dwight Melton, 59, of Etowah, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2012, at his residence. He was a son of the late George and Mattie Melton and is preceded in death by his parents listed above and two brothers, Paul and Herman Melton. Survivors include four brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry Spencer and Jessica Melton of Etowah, TN, James and Patricia Melton of Trenton, GA, Hoyt and Shirley Melton of Athens, TN and Jerry and Carlotta Melton of Etowah, TN; and one sister and brother-in-law, Aileen and Parnick Stewart of Etowah, TN. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Green Hill Cemetery. Rev. Hoyt Melton will officiate. No formal visitation will be held.
