Edith Marie Hanvey, 98, of Etowah passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Etowah. She was a daughter of the late Lewis and Gertrude Baum; former member of Athens Lutheran Church and was a pink lady at Woods Memorial Hospital.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Hanvey; parents, listed above; and son-in-law, Frank P. Lee.

Survivors include her son, Robert Hanvey of Etowah; daughter, Pamela Lee of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Lauree Watkins and husband, Trace, William Lee and wife, Monique; great-grandchildren, Mallory and Morgan Watkins, Lindsay and Lauren Lee

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Munch officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Interment will follow service in Green Hill Cemetery.
