Edith Lee Harris, 81, of Swanee, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. A native of Polk County and former Etowah resident, she was a daughter of the late John and Mammie Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Harris. Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Taylor of Cleveland and Brenda Barber of Riceville; and one grandson, Andy Harris of Swanee, Ga.

Family and friends will assemble at Green Hill Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 for graveside service. There will be no visitation held.
