Edna Mae Ammons, 97, of Englewood, TN passed away Monday, October 5, 2026.

She was a lifetime member of Liberty Hill Church of Christ and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time with her family, especially Sunday dinners, which she always looked forward to and loved cooking for her loved ones. She also had a special love for flowers and enjoyed caring for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Ammons; parents, Benjamin and Ida Daugherty; daughter-in-law, June Ammons; siblings, Zelmar Daugherty, Walter Daugherty, Sterling Daugherty, Carson Daugherty, Larson Daugherty, Ora Lee Daugherty.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dale and Anna Ammons, Ben Ammons; grandchildren and spouses, Melissa and Jason Bryson, Ben Jr. and Tonya Ammons, and Julie Randolph; great-grandchildren and spouses, Josh and Mallory McInturff, Rachel and Jackson Guy, John Bryson, Emily Millsaps; great-great-grandchildren, Parker Ann McInturff, Sutton Mae McInturff, Baby Girl Guy on the way; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
