Edna Louise Holt, 87, of Etowah, TN, went home to her Lord and Savior and the waiting arms of her soul mate on Saturday, July 30, 2022. She left this world surrounded by those she loved most.

Edna, who went by Louise, loved to sew, cook, and travel. Most of all, she loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her soul mate, Dan Holt, her parents Charles and Myrtle Evans, and four siblings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three sisters, Patsy Braddy, Julien and Chuck Alverson, and Linda and Hubert (Bear) Scarbough; her daughter, Rita Packett; her son, Herman and Kathy Holt; four grandsons, Daniel and Sara Corn, Timothy and Roxanne Corn, Adam and Danyelle Holt, and Aaron and Haley Holt; many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2022.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Ammons officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
