Edna June Peeler, age 82 of Englewood, TN, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Athens Place. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy True. Edna was a member of Englewood First Church of God. She retired from Eureka Garment in 1996. Edna was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Earl Peeler; son, James Ricky Peeler; brother, Lee True; and sister, Mae Kinser.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Richard Prater of Fredericktown, OH; daughter-in-law, Vicki Peeler of Ringgold, GA; 4 Grandchildren and spouses, Matt and Lisa Peeler, Angie Wilson, Amber and Jake Hawkins, and Eric and Merry Prater; and 6 great grandchildren, Logan Peeler, Chloe Wilson, Elizabeth Peeler, Abby Peeler, Sidney Peeler, and Jacob Hawkins Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Prater and Pastor Joe Clark officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at the funeral home and proceed to Sunrise Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
