Edward "Eddie" Austin Rowland, age 70, of Athens TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday June 19, 2019.  He was a faithful servant of the Lord and was pastor at Mt. Verd Baptist Church for 9 ½ years and at Cambria Baptist Church for 28 ½ years. His faith never wavered.

Preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Pauline Rowland.

He leaves behind his wife of 49 ½ years, Nina Sue Bates Rowland; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Wayne Brewer; adopted son, Marcus Campbell; 3 grandchildren, who were the joys of his life, Mikenzie Brewer, Kylie and Bradley Campbell; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Quay Loveday; 1 brother, Randy Rowland

Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019 with funeral service to follow in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dunn, Rev. Jimmy Price and Todd Loveday officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23 ^rd and proceed to Cambria Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.
