Obituary

Elayne Einerson, 79, of Englewood and formerly of Delano, received her wings and transitioned to her new heavenly home to meet those she had been longing for on July 23, 2022.

Elayne was born in Webster and grew up in Center Hill and Tampa, Florida, and was the daughter of James R. and Valeria P. Fussell and granddaughter of Benjamin F. and Eva Lee Price and niece of John Howell "Red" Price, who raised her. She is survived by her soul mate of 56 years, David Larry Einerson and her two daughters and son-in-laws, DeAnna and Howard Webb of Etowah and DeNise and Joe Gardner of Englewood; five grandchildren, Matthew (Ashtin) Webb, Emily Webb, Joshua Gardner, Zachary (Cassandra) Webb, and Katie Gardner. Two great-grandchildren, Tatum and Elliana Webb, a special cousin, Pat McFarland, other cousins, family, and many friends.

Elayne loved and was loved dearly by her family. She never met a stranger and loved to talk and visit with friends and family. A fellow member of her church said, "When I think of you, I think of kindness and love." Her family agrees wholeheartedly with that description. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Etowah and an avid Florida Gators football fan. She retired from Senior Neighbors of Chattanooga, a job she loved dearly.

Private services will be held for immediate family and interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Etowah, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Elayne's name be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Etowah, TN.
