Elizabeth "Kitty" Hamilton, 78, of Athens, TN, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Fort Sanders Medical Center.

She was member of New Zion Baptist Church. She loved singing Gospel music. In her free time, she loved being with her kids, grandkids, and precious great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by parents, Hayes Stewart and Ruby Stewart; granddaughter, Abra Perian.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny "Bone" Hamilton; children and spouses, Sandra Ausburn, Mark and Gigi Perian, Angelia and Scott Young; grandchildren, Brandi Defriece and Nathan Tipton; step-grandchildren, Blake Derrick and Jadyn Chandler; great-grandson, Landyn Defriece; sister and brother-in-law, Inez and Thomas Triplett; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Hatcher officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Etowah Cemetery, Wednesday, April 13 ^th for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
