Ellisa Ann Williams Shaw, 49, of the Cog Hill community near Etowah, died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. A native of McMinn County, she was a graduate of Rantoul Township High School. "Miss Lisa" was once employed at the Christian Children Center. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eddy Allen Williams, Jr.; her grandparents, Roy and Natalie Chambers; grandmother, Amanda Gilliam; grandfather, Homer William; two uncles, Jack Rudder and Doyle Chambers; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janie and Eugene Shaw. Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Shaw of the Cog Hill community; one daughter, Jessica Shaw of the Cog Hill community; her parents, Eddie and Betty Williams of Etowah; one brother, Todd Williams; best friend, Terry Fulkerson-Lawton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 in the South Chapel with Pastor Aaron Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Green Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18th for the committal service.
