Emma Lee Stewart Stepp Crabtree Price, 93, of Tellico Plains, and formerly of Athens, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Etowah Health Care Center. A native of Etowah, she was the eldest child of the late Jacob and Gracie Stewart. She was a member of Starr Mountain Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her first husband, James Roy Stepp; her second husband, Jake Crabtree; her third husband, Harvey R. Price; three brothers, John, T.W. and Leonard Stewart; and one sister, Iris Cole. Survivors include one daughter, Rosalie S. Talmadge of Knoxville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, J.L. and Lin Stepp of Knoxville, and Steve Stepp of Tellico Plains; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Martha Peals of Orick, Calif., Ethel and Harry Symons of Fayetteville, N.C., Shirley and Tom Jones of Huntsville, Ala., and Mattie and Bud Hayes of Tellico Plains; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Annette Stewart of Tellico Plains; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregiver and special friend, Alice Morris. Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Monday at Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Pat Wilson officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
