Marie Harmon Newberry, 82, of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, October 6, 2023.

Marie was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, she was so blessed and thankful to be a part of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Newberry; parents, Frank and Eliza Harmon; sister, Elizabeth Davis; brothers, Willis Harmon and Fred Harmon.

Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma Rudd, Helen and Raymond Moon, Eula and Roy Williams, Alice and Doug Coleman; brother and sister-in law, George and Betty Harmon; brother-in- law, Darrell Davis; sister-in-law, Jean Harmon; a host of nieces and nephews; special great nephews Wil and Wyatt Franklin.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ten Mile, TN with Pastor Curtis Porter officiating, interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery.

Russell Davis, Jake Moon, Colten Moon, Jeff Franklin, Randy Farris and Daniel Farris will serve as pallbearers. Tim Cooper and Travis Moon will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
