Obituary

Etta Anne Floyd, 60, of Calhoun, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Woods Memorial Hospital due to heart failure. A daughter of Juanita and the late George Liner, she was a member and Sunday school teacher at Chestuee Baptist Church. She was an artist and a retired art teacher with McMinn County Schools. She was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Kimberly Dione Floyd.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Robbie Lovingood and Whitney and Eric McCoin; one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Pam Floyd; her mother, Juanita Mavity Liner; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Cliff Snyder; grandchildren, Bryleigh, Noah and Kolbyn Lovingood, Dixie McCoin and Alishea and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Jillian, Zoe and Chloe; and nieces, nephews and in-laws, Matthew and Cristi Snyder; Hannah and Adam Boggess and children, Dakota, Rebekah, Michaela and Savannah; Ezekiel and Leslie Snyder and children, Esther and Ezrah; Titus and Ginger Snyder and children, Haley, Haven and Harmony; Elizabeth and Joseph Green; and Naamah and Clay Jones and children, Abagail, Caden and Susannah. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chestuee Baptist Church, located at 1414 Athens Road in Calhoun, with Pastor Gary Moates, the Rev. Billy Leamon and the Rev. Robbie Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Old Clearsprings Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Nephews and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
