Faye Torbett York, 86, of Etowah, TN passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.

A native of Englewood, and a longtime resident of Etowah, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ida Mae Morgan Torbett. Faye was a faithful lifelong member of Englewood First Church of God, as well as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her husband, Bill York; daughter Sheila Cox.

She is survived by her son, Tim York; grandsons and spouse, Waylon Cox, Vic and Nakia Martin; great-grandchildren and spouse, Calvin Martin, Daisy and Jake Cannon.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28th in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Alexander and Pastor Roy Chism officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service.

Friends and family will meet at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 29th for the interment in McMinn Memory Gardens.
