Eunice Margie Williams, 104 of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at her residence.
She was a native of Blue Ridge, GA and raised in Ducktown, TN. She was a daughter of the late James M. Payne and Mary Emma Stiles Payne and step-mother, Ollie Cotter Payne. She attended Cherokee Indian Reservation School in Cherokee, NC. She was the oldest member of North Etowah Baptist Church, attended since 1945; and a member of Eastern Band of Cherokees. She retired from McMinn County School system.
Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold Williams; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Williams of Melbourne, FL, Jerry and Linda Williams of Athens, TN, Chip and Jean Williams of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Angie, Chris, Shanda, Krista, Dal and Todd Williams; 10 great-grandchildren; special caregiver and family friend, Sue Ball.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Wade officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Thursday, February 1st, at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. Entombment.
