Flora G. Eaves, 91, of Etowah, TN passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at NHC Healthcare. She was a resident of Etowah for over 70 years and worked in the Dietary Department at Woods Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Gillis West and Sena "Haun" Grayson. Preceded in death by her husband, Burch G. Eaves, who retired from the L&N Railroad; and her parents.

Survivors include 1daughter, Beverly Cartee of Cleveland, TN; 2 sons, Kris Eaves of Etowah, TN and Creed Eaves of Savannah, GA; 5 grandchildren, David Stewart of Clinton, TN, Will Eaves of El Paso, TX, Mary Mock of Robinson, TX, Tyson Eaves of Daytona Beach, FL, and Megan Eaves of Cleveland, GA; 4 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Heather Stewart of Clinton, TN, Savannah and Mason Mock of Robinson, TX.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Earl Officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the committal service Saturday following the funeral service.
