Frank W. Rose
Frank "Frankie" William Rose, CCEMT-P, 56, passed away January 4, 2011 at his home in Delano, TN under Family Hospice care. Mr. Rose was the son of the late Frank Max Rose of Rising Star, TX and Zobita Brown Liner of Old Fort, TN.
Mr. Rose was graduate of Polk County High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Analysis from Edmonson Junior College. He was an accomplished musician working as a Studio Musician in Nashville and later becoming a Freelance Recording Engineer. He also was an Amateur Radio Operator (KF4MAT).
In 1993, Mr. Rose felt his life needed a change in direction and turned his career towards Emergency Medical Services where obtained his EMT-Paramedic License in 1994 and gained his certification as a Critical Care Paramedic through Georgia School of Medicine in 2000. He worked with various EMS Services and hospitals throughout Middle and Eastern TN until a massive heart attack in 2009 cut his career short .With all his accomplishments, Mr. Rose felt his greatest achievement was being able to care people in need.
Mr. Rose was a charter member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Benton, TN.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Moses Rose of Delano, TN; daughters, Stacy and husband, Phillip Blackwell and Sebrina and husband, Mark Burger all of Benton, TN; step-son, Sky Perry; grandchildren, Makayla, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Gabrielle and Mark Jr.; sisters-in-law, Joan and Nat Moore and Jerrie and Bobby Guthrey all of Athens, TN; nieces, Melanie Guthrey, Jane Moore and Dr. Teanna Moore; nephews, Jack Guthrey of Nashville, TN and special friends, Mick Laseter of Henegar, AL and Steve Lofty of Benton, TN.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Old Trew Cemetery with Rev. Richard Mason officiating Family and EMS Personnel will serve as pallbearers. No formal visitation will be held.
