Fred Steve Cantrell, 57, of Englewood, TN passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at his residence. A Native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he retired from J.M. Huber Corp. retiring at 20 years of employment. A member of Wildwood Baptist Church and a graduate of Central High School, class of 1975. Steve was an outdoorsman and loved horses. He was a son of Arietta Cantrell and the late Reed Cantrell of the Wildwood community. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Cochran; father, Reed Cantrell; and his sister, Evelyn Chambers.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Tracy; grandson whom Steve and Mary raised, Connar Peck; mother, Arietta Cantrell of Englewood, TN; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Lola and Craig Spurling of Knoxville, TN, Marie and Barry Pitsker of Arkansas, Margaret and Foster Bohannon of Athens, TN, Vickie and David Stiles of Athens, TN;2 brothers and sister-in-law, David and Donna Cantrell of Etowah, TN, Jim Cantrell of Englewood, TN; special Friend, Linda Nipper; several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Wildwood Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held.
