Gary Gene Jones, 79, of Etowah passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Etowah Health Care Center. He was a son of the late Clyde and Georgia Jones; and a Veteran of the US Air force for 13 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, listed above; first wife, Helen A. Jones; and brother, Douglas Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Jones; son, James Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and David Pryor, Aldia Sue and Tracy Ryan; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Linda Jones; sister, Kawana Hudson; 3 nephews; 9 nieces.

A private graveside service will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Ken Thorton officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
