Georgia Marie Blickenstaff, 88, a resident of Polk County for the past two and a half years, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her residence. A native of Indiana, she attended Mountain View Baptist Church. A daughter of the late Floyd Everett and Lela Mae sterrett, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Blickenstaff; one daughter, Mildred McVey; and one son, Kenneth Wayne Hartman. Survivors include two daughters, Carla Hartman of Benton, and Jan Whitener of Benton; four grandchildren, Edward McVey, Melissa Venard, Lillian McVey and Marcia Swimm; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A time of gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home.
