Georgia Annis Green, 70 of Athens, TN passed away at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens Saturday, September 20, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jeanette Bowers. Preceded in death by her brother, Jay Bowers; sisters, Ruby Dillard, Eldora Bowers and Willa Dean McLemore.

Survivors include son, Jamie Holt; daughters and sons-in-law Penny and George Duncan, Patty and Carl Harris, Lesa and Tim Harris, Jeanetti Marks and fiancé Darrell Dispain; grandchildren, Kimberly Truelove, Shane and Courtney Duncan, Kimberley Harris, Timothy Harris, Matthew and Mark Harris, Taylor Marks, James Wriley Marks and Callie Jaye Marks; great-grandchildren, Trevor Burns, Dayna Mason, Cayden Moore, Waylon Truelove and Tucker Truelove; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Arnold Coleman.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Larry Coleman officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday September 23, 2014 at Bordwine Funeral Home and proceed to Mars Hill Cemetery for the 10:00 a.m., committal service.

Pallbearers will be Tim Harris, Matt Harris, Mark Harris, Jamie Holt, Billy Green and Larry Whitney. Timothy Truelove will serve as honorary pallbearer.
