Georgia Buckner Locke, 79, of Etowah passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at UT Medical Center. She was of the Christian Faith and daughter of the late Charlie and Ella Buckner.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Tommy and Bruce Buckner; sister, Linda Buckner Tate; and 1 daughter, Rosa Locke Shell.

Survivors include Husband of 58 years, Eugene Locke; Sons and daughters-in-law, Chris Locke, Charles and Susan Locke, Thomas and Kitty Locke, Jimmy and Jacqueline Locke;Grandchildren,Heather Shell Roads,Caroline Locke,Kassidy Locke, Lily Locke,Jackson Locke, Jordan Locke;Great-grandchildren, Zachary Stephensky and Tyler Roads;Sister-in-law, Chassie Lowe Buckner; several nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Stephen Hailey officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home Friday, March 6, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. and proceed to Conasauga Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.
Jimmy Locke, Greg Peel, Lee Tate, Colt Fernandez, Ken Vaughn and Ronnie Raper will serve as pallbearers.Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackson Locke, Zachary Stephensky, Tyler Roads and Michael Ingram.
