Gerald Manis, 71 of Riceville, TN passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. He served in the U.S. Air Force 1965-1969 stationed in Brussels; and he retired from Bendix and from 1st 278th Armed Cavalry of Athens.

Preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Karine Manis.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Karen J. Manis; daughters, Lisa Dowdy, Angel Winslow, Michelle Manis, and Chrissy Manis; 4 sisters, Brenda Manis, Betty Manis, Nancy Manis and Margaret Manis; 5 grandchildren, Mark Winslow,Skye Winslow, Nathan Manis, Tyler Manis and Joseph Parker.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Benny Thomas officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Riceville Cemetery.
