Gerald Wayne Smith, 72 of Athens, TN passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Etowah Healthcare Center.

Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Geraldine Smith; uncle, Earl White; and nephew, Travis Carroll.

Survivors include his brother, Michael Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Michael Carroll; nephews, Byron and Tyson Carroll and Jerry White; aunt, Peggy White; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

No formal services will be held.
