Geraldine Blair passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 surrounded by her family at the age of 96.

Geraldine prided herself on being a hard worker who always did all she could for herself, her family, and her friends. Her life was simple, long, and filled with many wonderful memories that her family and friends will cherish forever. She retired after many years of service at Damy Industries.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Fate and Gussie Sitzler; one infant son, Terry Blair; two sisters, Golda Faye Ellis and Nell Colquitt; one brother, James "Preacher" Sitzler; and one grandson, Dave McKenzie.

She is survived by two daughters, Dianne Slack and Connie Mckenzie; and one son, James Allen Blair (Debbie); she also leaves behind two sisters, Creola Watson and Johnnie Leedy; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend Judy Kirksey.

The family will gather for a private ceremony at McMinn Memory Gardens in Athens, Tennessee on Wednesday, September 17.
