Geraldine Elliott, 69, of Etowah, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 Life Care Center of Athens. She was a member of Dixon Avenue Baptist Church and a former employee of Bordwine Funeral Home. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Dovie Daugherty Bunch and was preceded in death by her parents, listed above; and brothers and sisters, Jerry Bunch, Raven Bunch, Charlene Jeffers, Pauline Garrison, Aline Turner, Ellen Waugh, and Memphis Bunch. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Mackie Elliott of Etowah, daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Stacy Wilson of Englewood; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lori McCracken Elliott of Decatur; grandchildren, Chrystal and Clint Ballinger, Blake Atkins, Ryan Elliott, McKayla Elliott, Kacy Wilson, Carter Elliott, and Megan Larue; great-grandson, Brantley Ballinger; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillie and Odis Doyle of Miamisburg, OH, and Dora and David Jeffers of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse Jr. and Frankie Bunch of Clinton; brothers-in-law, Roy T. Turner of Clinton, and Dave Garrison of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Geneva Bunch of Clinton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ferland and Della Elliott of Kingston, Evelyn and Roger Mincey of Cleveland, Juanita and Leonard Harness of Cleveland and Steve and Lisa Elliott of Clinton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Watson officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 8th and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for 11:00 a.m., committal service. Blake Atkins, Ryan Elliott, Stacy Wilson, Clint Ballinger, Carter Elliott, Jerry Mincey, and Brian Garrison will serve as pallbearers.
