Gladys Pike Blackwell, 91, of Athens, TN, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021.

She was born to John and Lissy Pike on March 24, 1930 in Reliance, TN.

She loved fishing, hunting and camping or just being in the mountains of Polk County.

Preceded in death by one son, Sterling Terry; one granddaughter, Christina Rollins and one great-grandson, Presley Rollins.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Akins and husband, Gary; one sister, Birthy Hicks; five grandchildren, Harold Rollins, Dean Rollins, James Rollins and Ricky Rollins and wife, Jennifer, Clay Terry and wife Anna; daughter-in-law, Gail Terry; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 27th in Towee Church Cemetery with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating.
