Gladys E. McNabb, 82 of Etowah, TN passed away on Monday October 7, 2013 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Ledford and Ora Freeman Ledford Garren. Preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Eugene McNabb; daughter, Norma Mauck; grandson, James Matthew Mauck; brother, Kenneth Ledford; sisters, Laura Mae Collis and Louise Tallent.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Ann Ervin of Athens, TN; son-in-law, Bill Mauck of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Nathan and Ashley Ervin of Knoxville, David Ervin of Athens, TN, Shannon Mauck of Texas, Shane and Alison Hill of Maryville, TN; great-grandchildren, Kristen and Eric Hill of Maryville, TN; brother-in-law, Jim Collis of Cleveland, TN and sister-in-law, Pat Ledford of Cleveland, TN. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Crockett officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Brown Hill Cemetery, Thursday for the 10:00 a.m., committal service.
