Gladys Jane Wampler, 84, of Englewood, died early Monday morning, March 8, 2010 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home in Etowah. A native and lifelong resident of Englewood, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Hattie Johnson Wampler. She attended Mars Hill United Methodist Church. Survivors include several cousins and a special friend, Pansy Corvin of Englewood. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the North Chapel with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Mars Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10th for the committal service.
